This has probably been done before, but I'm bored ;)

    In no order:

    Roy Jones
    Bernard Hopkins
    Pernell Whitaker
    Ricardo Lopez
    Julio Cesar Chavez
    Floyd Mayweather
    James Toney
    Lennox Lewis
    Joe Calzaghe
    Manny Paq

I had a hard time putting JC in there since he ducked the best when they were young....but 46-0 is tough to ignore in the end. What's interesting to me, is that for all people say boxing has been in a big slump there are number of guys in the last 20 years on this list who challenge for top 20 ATG list, in my opinion.

Morales, Marquez and Barrera would be above Calzaghe

I would remove Calzaghe and add Barrera, though I think Calzaghe is close to that class. You could also argue Morales above Barrera, of course.

interesting that you guys would rate them over JC-seems reasonable... though it seems reasonable the other way too. Getting back to my boxing isn't dead thought, from my original list I think the following 8 could challenge for top 20 slots

    Roy Jones
    Bernard Hopkins
    Pernell Whitaker
    Ricardo Lopez
    Julio Cesar Chavez
    Floyd Mayweather
    Lennox Lewis
    Manny Paq

Nobody for Shane Mosley guys? For me, Mosley and Holyfield have cases for inclusion, along with those mentioned already.

    Anyone for Tito?

definitely no tito for me. mosley and holyfield are hard to deny...although they both lost a bunch, the took on everyone and fought like lions and won many great bouts.

the funniest thing is that R. Lppez might be the cream of the bunch and almost no-one outside of boxing has any idea who he is!

I wouldn't go as far to say he's up there at the very top, but he's well worth his inclusion in the top ten.

In a few years time, when debating the top ten fighters since 2000, I'd like to think that a certain Ivan Calderon will merit inclusion. What is mightily impressive about Iron Boy is that he's a total non-puncher compared to Lopez, yet he's still to be beaten!
