Povetkin best HW prospect, I think Povetkin needs to do some HW before he can become best HW prospect. Best HW prospect I think is Dimitrenko and maybe Virchis. Virchis would be first, but he older.

Well, you make some good points. To me, questionable decisons count. Povetikin shut out Donald- some doubt that Valuev really even beat him. Povetkin stopped Byrd, there are questions as to whether Valuev even really beat the comparable Ruiz. And Valuev recently lost. But I take your point. VAluev is a former champ, ans squeezed three successful defenses ito his brief reighn. Most would agree with you. As for Gomez, beating Mccall is an impressive feat to me. I know he's on the wrong side of 40, but he's dangerous.
I'd put them: 1. Wlad 2. Chagaev 3. Ibragimov 4. Maskaev 5. Peter 6. Valuev 7. Thompson 8. Povetkin 9. Gomez 10. Virchis/Dimitrenko Vitali can go right back into the top 5 if he regains his form.

IMO the Golota who thrashed Bowe twice would be the #1 H2H heavyweight in this era, except for his fragile mind. He has all the physical tools needed to thoroughly devastate anyone in the division. He has size, power, a good enough delivery system (unlike Virchis/Peter types), and he's very durable (minus his brain). He would shatter Wladimir, he would dominate guys like Ibragimov/Maskaev with his size + power, he could outbox and outlast Virchis/Peter type sluggers and he's accurate and skilled enough to not get outslicked by Chambers/Povetkin types. Golota was a good well-balanced heavyweight back in the day. IMO he's most similar to Chagaev, except the two things that Ruslan lacks (power and size) aren't absent in Golota. If only he had a brain!
True, even I used to take questionable decisions into consideration, but then folks gave me hell for leaving Valuev out of my top ten. As for Gomez, I see your point, beating McCall is impressive, but I want to see more out of him. A win over a more recent ex-champ would help.
