Now wouldnt this be a marvelous fight! The kid can BANG! He had Cotto on ***** street and nearly out. Reckon Hattons got the balls to bang with a guy like Torres?

Great fight and I would love it to happen. I have been shouting this fight for awhile. It would be a wide open fight and I would edge towards my country man Hatton to win but I do not think he would take it. He's after the softest possible way of making money possible so a fight against a threat of Torres ability would be way out of the reckoning.

Hatton would outclass Torres and walk through most of his punches. Unlike Cotto, Hatton has got a strong chin. Torres would be hitting Hatton with shots he'd see coming. Tszyu hit Hatton with shots Torres couldn't match.

    Hatton KO 10.

And why wont it happen? Doesnt he hold a belt? Isnt he one of the better fighters at 140? Or is he another big risk with little reward that Hatton needs to avoid?

I think it could happen....I could see Hatton fighting someone like Torres as opposed to Malignoggi in Manchester....Torres would be a good fight for Hatton...Torres would be one of only a few of Cotto's previous castaways that Ricky would fight...Judah or Mosley would own Hatton

torres is not well known enough. there is not enough money in it for hatton to take this fight. and no its not too much of a risk. in fact if the fight was made i would have a bet with you on whether hatton wins. a leaving the forum bet. seeing as hatton is " so ****" maybe then we will all see how confident you are on hatton being "****"

Not sure how much you know about marketing but Setanta and HBO or Showtime can work wonders..The main ingredients are their to be mixed mate....Torres IS a good fighter, a solid record, oh yea and a championship belt never hurts for marketability or credibility either:good....Oh yea Hatton IS **** or a wrestler whichever you prefer

torres-holt is an OK fight too, crazy crowd and some respectable action. out of all the belt holders at 140 torres is a guy hatton can look good against, a come forward brawler with little defense. though his come forward attack plays well into hatton's style, i'd give torres a good chance of winning against hatton. he's pretty strong, so i'm not sure hatton easily outmuscles him. he's also got a good punch.

.....and collazo and urango were world famous superstars who drew thousands on PPV?

give it a rest, this is excuse it tired and invalid. this is hatton we're talking about. he used to sell out the MEN fighting cab drivers and toilet cleaners. he's the draw, the drawing power of his opponent means jack****.

Well seeing as your the cretin who`s making all the excuses and there isnt enough MONEY in it for him as thats all his fans seem to bleat about these days how about you leave the forum when your boy gets his ass served to him on a plate? Not well known enough. I suppose Collazo and Urango were? What a pathetic excuse.
