    What are some exercises for physical and mental toughness? (Except sparring)

    Get your friend to punch you in the face repeatedly until you need to go to the hospital.

    We do one at the gym where we hit eachother with 50, 1-2 combos on the abs, hard with bareknuckles....you have to last to 50, real killer.

    I think there are some gutpunching vids on youtube to look for inspiration

    Physical toughness is easy, it's the mental toughness that's a pain. I would just say build a "I don't give a ****" attitude. Most people get worried when they get hit, but if you go in expecting to get hit; then you'll be just fine
