Who was that skinny bloke wearing the trilby* in George Groves corner on Saturday? Some very odd behaviour; when the fight was stopped, he didn’t display any sign of jubilation, he got in the ring, walked to Smith’s corner and just stood there staring at him! He may have played a vital role in the corner (unlikely) but he looked and behaved like a top drawer geek! *Were funny hats de rigueur in Groves corner? Haye was wearing a sh*t baseball hat and there was a black lad wearing a flat cap!
