I could watch those two muthahumpas fight all day. I demand a trilogy! One and a half rounds just isn't enough of a fix. That is all.
Give Williams a break. He's probably still wondering where he's at and your calling for him to get in the ring with Martinez again.
The overall point being, Williams just got destroyed, devastated, humiliated, and rendered completely unconscious inside 2 rounds. ...Why do we want to see this again? Is it the idea that a lucky punch was landed and a third fight would play out any different? If Williams was going to change up, he would have done it after the first grueling encounter, a fight many felt he lost. He's incapable of changing up, he presses the action with his chin in the air, and Martinez, every time he lets his hands go, seems to land hard and flush. Williams needs to rebuild...a rematch shouldn't be on either man's agenda.
Tell Williams to give Quintana a trilogy first. Now thats a true 1-1 situation. To anybody who knows how to score a fight.... Marvailla has now owned Williams twice. No need for a trilogy. Martinez left ZERO doubt tonight as to whom the better fighter is. Let FALL Paul give a rematch to Kermit.
I'm not sure we will ever see it. Martinez isn't a young guy and might not be riding this wave by the time I would go for the third match. Williams needs to be brought back sensibly. Keep him away from punchers for a while and then brought in against a puncher who lacks the skills before a rematch with Martinez.
Martinez is done with Williams and has bigger and better things to do. He'll beat Williams again im sure. I hope Williams recovers from this but in the meantime much credit to Maravilla.
Martinez is clearly the better fighter. I thought he won the first fight, and tonight just proved it ten fold. And after that KO, PW is not going to have the confidence to sign another fight with him.
