Tito was most effective at 154 & 147 against a real strong middleweight like Benn would be too much for him, but at the same time - if Benn elects to slug it out w/ Tito .... Anything can happen.

Benn would knock the **** out of Trinidad at 160lbs. Trinidad effectively has nothing to really bother Benn at that weight. his power wouldn't be able to dent Benn's underrated chin, and you can't say the same the other way around.

    Benn KO 6.

I'll go with Benn just because its at 160, but Tito's chin is so underrated in general, the man was never hurt until he fought B-Hop, which does mean good for Benn here (just thought i'd try and kill off the 'Trinidad's got a glass chin' crap) as he was a monsterous puncher at this weight. But dont you guys know what happens to guys who fight Trinidad the way Benn would? Are people here writing off Trinidad as simply a hard puncher? Tito was absolutely devastating even at 160 (powerwise), and Benn's chin doesnt mean good for him considering that.

Im not dissing Benn's chin, but he was hurt and knocked down against these type of punchers throughout his career. The reason that Benn would have a chance of winnin' this is because of strength imo, not power, he was a proper MW, who would also be comfortable at SMW, but Trinidad CAN stop him , i see Benn winnin' it though, goes to the body and saps some energy to do it though

Come on now, you know this board probably has the largest portion of Brits and Welshman, so OBVIOUSLY, he's going to be overrated at nauseum.:tired

But I think Nigel may get him, but they WAY he fights tends me to believe he would fight right into Tito's hands..

Thats what im sayin' !! Im from England , not a 'Brit' though! What a viile word!! A 'Brit' imo (in boxing terms) is a guy who is biased for the countrymen in a sport which knows no geographical boundaries!!!

What makes Hopkin's defeat of Trinidad so great if most people think Benn KO's him.

    WAR!

Benn wins by KO. he was an extrmely hard hitting middleweight, and although Tito had success at 160, his vunrabilities would be highlighted at the higher weight. Titos chin would not be able to stand Benns punches.

    Benn KO 6

this would be a massacre, trinidad was get killed, hopkins layed him out, benn hits alot harder than hopkins possibly one of the biggest hitters of recent years, if trinidad got past 4 i would be surprised, im not taking anything away from tito, but been was alot physically stronger, his chin was better and he hit alot harder, not much of a challenge here

Styles make fights. A nigell Benn was a big hitting middleweight, Titowas vunrable when you smacked him and never had the sweetest defence anyway. Style wise Trinidad would be very good for Nigel Benn.
