Was watching these fights on HBO last night and Damn, how the **** does Jay Nady keep getting selected to ref these world class fights when hes been doing the same stupid **** for the last 8 years.

Most in particular the Tito/Vargas fight, he gives TIto a 2 minute pep talk not to hit under the belt than deducts him, then deducts Vargas for barely tapping Tito under the belt, it reminded me of that one commercial where the ref was saying he totally blew that call and he will penalized the other team in the 2nd half for no apparent reason to even it out.

I thought Nady did a great job in the Jones-Ruiz fight - he was the first ref to force that cheater to FIGHT instead of HOLD excessively, and of course he lost virtually every round.

Must not have been on King's payroll.

Trinidad Vargas fight was pretty damn good I had forgotten how good it was. Both guys came to fight. I think Vargas was far too inexperienced to be fighting Trinidad but he fought well nonetheless. Thats what ruined Vargas right ther.

Yeah, probably bad management. He was a bit too young and inexperienced to fight a guy like Tito. Who knows what the outcome could've been had he fought Tito at the age of about 25 instead of 22.
