Adios Trinidad. Getting KO'd is not a smart way to get a paycheck.

Trinidad should just make a rematch with De La Hoya and loose a dicision as opposed to getting the ass beating of his life with pavlik.

I don't know. At 160 Trinidad has pop. Pavlik is a straight foward guy. I dont see Pavlik running over Trinidad like that. He has to worry about getting punched too. It could go either way.

as much i liked Trinidad , he shouldnt fight with Pavlik, my suggest is to fight a "nobody" or good opponent but with less risk, so he can get confidense and then look for a big fight, at 154 if he can make the weight

If this fight would be followed by the Trinidad-Joppy fight, I'd say Trinidad. But of course, this is not the case. The truth is that Joppy is the only legitimate middleweight Trinidad beat, and after that fight he never really looked good agaisnt actual competition. If Trinidad still had the ability to slip punches and counterpunch at the same time i would give Tito a hell of a chance, but those days are over, and as much as I love Trinidad, his fighting style and all that he has done for Puerto Rico i dont think he should be looking for any fights other than a rematch with DLH, maybe Winky, or try to straighten up his career by fighting contenders and build his way up again for one more last horrah, and then retire.

I hope this fight does not happen. It is a waste of time, and the funny part is Pavlik actually wants this fight I would rather see Pavlik fight Roy Jones Jr.

It's been said Pavlik could make any where from 18 to 20 mill for fighting Tito. The Duddy fight would be considerably less.

I completely understand that Pavlik's recent fights have been wars. But there is a such thing as easy warm up fights and then ridiculous fights promoted just to suck the money out of fans. I mean come on! This is not a competition. Just when it looked like boxing took two steps forward it takes one step back.

Nothing against Trinidad. He was great but you can't beat father time.

I wish I had seen Trinidad vs Jones so I can better answer this. One thing that I will say is that I never saw a fighter stand in front of Tito and end the fight in one piece and I don't think that Kelly has the mobility to stay away from his so unless Tito is a comnplete shell of his former self I would not count him out.
