It is poor pay but as soon as these guys start earning more the sport will die. Fights won't be made because of money etc Henderson has left now. Strikeforce has good points but also bad points. Strikeforce is the equivilent of another ABC belt in boxing.

Also the fighters get some money from their advertising I think. With the shirts they wear after the fight and the banners they hang etc.

Still, that isn't a lot. I wonder how that compares to the undercard fighters of a boxing PPV.

These guys get paid ****, especially considering that as soon as they hit their mid 40's, all the effects of their injuries will start to take their toll, one ****in surgery costs 70-100 thousand, and insurance, well for a beat up fighter, thats probably 600 a month alone.

not bad but why does hamill gets a bonus and kimbo doesn't? Kimbo deserve the W more than hamill.

Maybe that's why he got 25k, a lot of money compared to other TUF losers. 25k out right is a better deal than say 12.5 for a loss and 25 for a win.

 No way Kimbo got only 25k. Not saying he is getting the type of money he got with EliteXC, though I'm pretty sure he got much more then 25k.

Thats bull**** pay! Alexander only getting 13k and Bones getting 20k is pathetic. Good to see Edgar get a fat check though!

For the one millionth time; these are fight purses, they do not make up all or even most of the money the fighters make from Zuffa.

There have been endless proven stories that fighters get paid "bonuses" in order to increase their pay but not have to be reported to the commission and made public.

Goddamn Matt Veach would only have made 5k if not for the FOTN bonus.
