First off much resepct to Joel Casamayor !! I have been a critic of him for yrs but last night's performance can only be summed up in one word :

    BRILLIANT !!!

Anyways how is it that fighetrs like Casa and Campbell were able to turn back the hands of time ? Can Hopkins continue to defy his age ??

What has the vetran fighters tapped into that has got them more success now then when they were younger ??

Experience, wisdom, conditioning, and having some gas left in the tank.

If you have some gas left, you can do anything.

Very true but considering the fighst he's been in it was a shock to him just manhandle such a young fighter like that ..Not to say that skill and experience didn't have much to do with it ..But I didn't think he would do it in such a convincing fashion .

Casa gives his best performance when properly motivated. This fight was against a young lion, undefeated, ranked in the top 5, and standing in Casa's way for a big payday. He was fighting for everything last night. A loss would have been the end.

I didn't watch it because I figured Casamayor was finished after he got that robbery win in his last fight. Can't wait to see this.

It was a brutal war. I even had my doubts going in, and I love Casa. But Casa dug deep and produced a brutal TKO.

experience....Casamayor is one of the most experienced boxers active in boxing today. The guy is just a fkn veteran like no other. He knew exactly what he was coming into when fighting Katsidis and he took care of business. Mad props to Casamayor.
