We have two Manny's, right? The new one is a bit like Pernell Whitaker - only better. Seriously though, everybody knows Manny's situation. On the flipside of the question regarding Hatton's approach to fighting Pacquiao, is the question of how offensive Manny should be in fighting Hatton. Roach has stated that Hatton will have to contend with Manny's pressure, and that "Manny would be the one backing Hatton up" (video below). Red herring or not, this begs the question; does Manny go after Hatton, and take the fight to him, or does he go the counter-tactical methodical route?

pac is way too fast and throws an accumulation of punches, i dont believe hatton can keep taking those punches and keep moving forward. hatton will be forced on the backfoot and thats when the fight is over.

If I will see hatton backing up it's over. It will mean that hatton won't stand the accumalation of punches. But that is IF.

Pacquiao doesn't need to be aggressive; he can just let Hatton push the fight and outbox him.

As for the thread, I pick the 2nd option. I think pac should look to get him out of there ASAP but be cautious because Hatton is very dangerous. He's 1 punch away from a KO win. Pac can get him out of there if he stuns him.
