According to Boxrec he's making his pro debut on the Arthur-Cook undercard in September. Anyone know anything about this?

He's ****ed off at not going to Beijing. No idea about opponent, a real can I would have thought.

    Good luck to the lad.

Yep he has turned pro. He had been talking about it for awhile and finally came to the decision recently. I can see why the board over looked him for the olympic qualifying competitions because at that time Price was the better fighter. Tyson is a big lad who has a style suited to the pro's so his early career will be worth keeping an eye on.

    Good luck to the lad.

He has the size to make waves if his chin is good.

As Reilly points out his moniker alone should get him noticed

Strange, the last interview I saw he seemed he'd got his head around not going to Beijing and was focusing on trying for the next Olympics.

Yep. He had an interest in going to 2012 but the wait would have been long and he is not vertain to get the pick. Better just take his chances as a pro than wait around doing nothing for four year.

Good move by the lad. 2012 is a long time away and so much could happen, injuries, bad decisions, stupid judgements by the ABA, etc etc

In four years time he'll probably be a household name and will be on verge of British/European titles. I've seen a little bit of him and he's very very good, but is quite flabby and needs to hit the weights to get into proper shape
