Ok he wasnt exactly facing an ATG in there but that was an impressive performance, jab looked wicked and he brutalised a limited but durable yank . Looked in far better shape than id ever seen him and looked like he could of gone all night. Apart from those very weird shorts it was a good nights work.
"Fit as a fiddle!" Fury's own words! I'm excited over Fury's dedication to training. . . I think he can go far - I really do. Now I don't think he can beat Wladimir now, or probably ever. . . But he's only 23, so he should be focused about his career for the long term. . . I do think he can beat everybody else out there, or at least has the chance to. . . I mean, he's 6'9'' with an 85" reach, and he seems to be getting better, and better at utilizing that. . . AND, he's really not that bad on the inside either, so if he does have to fight on the inside, he won't just have to clinch up.. . He got the better of a good inside boxer, Chisora, or many occasions - Doing GREAT work to the body. Shoveling uppercuts into his stomach, turning hooks over around his guard, and into his liver. .. DEfense is getting better - catching body sohts on his elbows, and head shots with his forearms, and gloves. . . Bending at the waist when need be (although he'll always be a little stiff in that department)
I just hope he doesn't fall into the trap of fighting the Maddalones of the world, and then all the sudden jump right into either a Wladimir fight, or another fight with a top younger guy like Price, Pulev, Mitchell, etc. . He was heading in the right direction with Chisora, and so should continue to gradually transition into better fights.
Agreed, If he can keep improving and stepping up the competition he will be well on the way to a title for sure. Whats good is that you generally see an improvement each time he fights.
I don't get why you like Tyson Fury? Why not David Price? Why not Spzkilaaaaaaaaaaaaa Why not Bryant Jennings. TYSON FURY GOT BEAT UP BY A 18 YEAR OLD OLYMPIAN.. AND HE UPPER CUTTED HIMSELF. Not to mention he's ducking Price.. You know he's avoiding Price. Before you say' Fury is still learning' well so is Price.. So why not fight each other?
50 year old Evander took out that guy in 2 rounds fighting Holyfield would be a big step form his recent competition keep it real
:rofl Starts @ 3:55 He NEVER said he "beat me up." He said he "took it easy on him. . ." and that "he's a banger" and the only thing he said in regards to getting hit, or hurt was "I ate a massive uppercut from him, and if I had a chin like David Price, I'd have been knocked out for a week." He then just goes on to say how he was a handful in sparring, and "if he could put up such a fight against a top professional prospect like me, then he's good. . he's the best HW ammy in this country by a mile." And he FINALLY ends by saying "this is sparring, though, with head gear, and for three rounds, not even close to professional boxing. . . " SELF-PWN. . . FAIL. . . ALL credibility lost in the future for quoting other boxers. . . :hi:
:rofl Check your video again there bub, he insults Price more than anything. . He said he took it easy on Joshua, and just that he ate a massive uppercut from him. . . I DO like Jennings a lot - real big on him (made several posts about it here in the past how I think he's the best American HW right now). . . I like Fury because he is Irish, and I have some Irish roots. . . Actually form the same area as Fury as well. . . He did NOT duck Price. . I don't know where people get this from? They offered Price 100k pounds to fight him, and Price turned it down. . . So Fury moved on. . ANd Price takes to claiming he ducked him? Price will get it soon enough. . 70/30 Fury, and he whips his ass. . .
ALso, I like FUry not just because of our common ancestors, but mainly his style. . I love tall guys who fight off the back foot with good jabs. . . Just a fan of that tall man style of boxing. . . Fury is one of the rare ones who isn't afraid to bang on the inside, and stand in the pocket to have a dust-up. . .
Fury is **** Price is the best young up incoming Hw Propect, I also like Spizilka but Felix Trinidad has sais the guy to look out for is Anthony Joshua and after seeing him fight if he stays healthy when he turns pro he's going be the real deal
