I fail to see why prime Harrison, Sprott, Williams and Skelton would be considered worse than the current British crop to be honest. Time will tell if Fury and Price can achieve more in the ring than the above. They have a long way to go to surpass those mentioned.
Fury brutally stops Wlad, and easily beat Vitali so I dont care either way, the real heavyweights to beat are Haye and Price.
Fury has yet to grab the European title yet like the above. I like Fury and Price but you have to be realistic too. I remember the last domestic era well. If you went back in time you'd see similar type of threads claiming Harrison, Skelton and Williams could be title holders in the post Lewis era. I think Price and Fury personally will surpass the above but it wont be easy. They're at the serious end now. Every fight now should be against another contender/fringe contender and Fury has already looked very vulnerable for large chucks of his career.
I think he's looked damn good since he sorted his weight out. He'd knock Harrison out in 3 rounds, at whatever stage of Audley's career.
Well, Wladimir already beat Haye in a fight where he won almost every round, so if Wladimir isn't a heavyweight worth beating then Haye certainly isn't.
