Mike Tyson,[prime] versus Rocky Marciano's 5 challengers, what would be different?

    Roland Lastarza
    Joe Walcott
    Ezzard Charles x2
    Don C*ckell
    Archie Moore

I would see Tyson removing the first 4 quicker than Marciano did merely because Tyson was a quicker starter than Marciano.

With regard to Moore i think the 'Ol Mongoose' could get into Tysons head, challenge his psyche, not be intimidated.
IF. and it is a big if that was enough for Moore to mess with his mind and Moore was able to survive the early rounds against the wrecking ball known as Tyson, then it might have been interesting, but i do think Moore loses, just don't think he has the size or firepower to back up his psychological advantage.

Tyson probably wins these fights, by KO.
He did lose to Buster Douglas who really wasn't any better than some of these men, but Douglas was 6'4 with a long reach and could exploit Tyson's short stature. That possibility doesn't really exist for these guys.

I'd agree ,Tyson was a lot more explosive out of the blocks, I don't see C*ckell or Lastarza lasting long with him,Moore was probably too senior in years to weather Tyson's rapid salvos for very long,Walcott was only there for his pension plan. The Charles fights would be interesting, imo.

On reflection i would not disagree with your view of the Charles fights being interesting, especially if he was able to cut Tyson like he did Rocky, and if Charles was at least not behind on points at that stage.

Maybe a monster like Tyson approaching him with ill intent, might have been the spark Charles needed to get the 'killer' instinct back, that he allegedly lost after Baroudis death at his hands.

He would initially be a lot more dominant, but once he lost focus he would come unstuck somwhere.
