Tyson was mandated to fight Lennox Lewis by the WBC, thus he was stripped of the title when he fought Seldon

He was; technically Tyson was stripped the moment the bell rang for the first round.

Rustbucket Tyson was a sloppy mess in this fight, i remember him being tagged cleanly by jabs, then moving his head after impact.

Screw you Mongoose, Rusty Mike looked like absolute sloppy diarrhea against McNeeley, Mathis jr. & Seldon. :deal

Absolutely, nothing like prime Mike..who for exactly 20.8888888 seconds of the Spinks fight could dodge bullets and breathe fire.

    I class Tyson's Peak as '86 Ribalta to '88 Spinks, that's 10 fights...

If Mike Tyson from 1:30999999 of the Spinks fight was in the ring with Seldon that night...poor Bruce would have just melted into bubbling goo of skin and bone as soon the bell began and Tyson glared in his direction. There would be no official time clocked, fastest destruction in history. Afterwards, prime Mike would have took flight in a blur of color, rescuing Tupac from his shooter outside the arena before the bullets can reach their target.

Why the obsession with how fast he got the KO? It doesn't make his rusty performances against Seldon, McNeeley, Mathis any less sloppy or wild.

It doesn't change the fact he looked like utter **** in those fights.

Because prime Mike Tyson doesnt make mistakes. His infinite perfect execution and unmatched athleticism would likely result in faster knockouts, use your head man. Seldon would be goo before the bell, I mean look what **** fighter like post Tyson did to him? And Mathis...Tyson would land 100%, putting him to sleep in the first 30 seconds of the fight with a 90 punch combo. Only GOATS like Tubbs, and Tillis can make Tyson miss..and I'm pretty sure they are all dead now as a result.

PRIME TYSON #1 Greatest HW of all time

Post-Prison piece of **** Tyson.... Ha, lucky to crack the top 3000.

Yeah Tyson was actually 99% of himself post prison. His whole first run was pure hype and smoke. The contenders of the 90's were killers with the added size, to go along with their already far superior speed and skills of the drug riddled crop of the 80's.

Nah, post-prison Tyson was like Earnie Shavers without the stamina, skills, or the power. Clearly the absolute worse belt holder in history.

If he was 99% of himself, Seldon would have went down before Tyson even missed the punch, he would have knocked the man out with the glare of his eyes...because prime Tyson could shoot lasers from them you know. They just didn't show up on TV cameras.
