If Tyson would have never met Don King, stayed with Kevin Rooney, and came into the Buster Douglas fight in tip top shape with a veteran trainer and cutman how do you think he would have fared ?

I think he would have ran through Buster...a friend of mine thinks it was just a bad matchup and Buster would have got him either way. How do you feel about it ?

    Discuss.

I don't think he would have ever ran through him. It would be a tough fight , but I think Tyson at his peak would have ultimately won.

Douglas would have put up a very brave fight because he was motivated, and done better than anyone expected, but probably would have been beaten in the end.

I think Douglas would have always gave Tyson trouble but i do think Tyson at his best would have stopped him after a tough fight..

In his prime Tyson was a beast and he moved his head all the time son he would have ko Douglas and not get hit.

I just asked you for the reason you said that. You can't give a wrong answer when you're giving your opinion.

Tyson always had difficulty with anybody who had a world class jab. A fit motivated Douglas had a great jab and would always have caused a problem. I think ultimately though, a fit and motivated Mike Tyson would have finished Douglas in the round after he had already knocked him down.

Holyfield got past that jab so easy with way less head movement than conditioned and trained Tyson would have used.

Well then I think Tyson was in the best shape of his life. Douglas was not at his best as he was distracted by out of the ring matters.

Any version of Douglas would beat any version of Tyson.
