Tyson Vs Max Baer

Both in there prime..2 big punchers..who wins this over 12 rounds?

Max would kill tyson.

 

I think it wud be a hell of a scrap..Max with his range and power..against one of the top 3 biggest punchers in history

 

I don't think Baer had the heart or skill to stand up to Tyson. Tyson TKO 4.

 

Tyson by brutal KO or wide UD. It would look like the Ruddock fights.

 

Tyson imo, Max will be fighting him, and prime Tyson would be too skillfull imo and find him and stop him

 

It could be interesting while it lasted. Baer could punch like Bruno and take it like Ruddock and if he catches Tyson coming in he could hurt him.

Ultimately Tyson would just have too many tools but it could be interesting.

 

I think it would be over pretty quickly. Max was to predictably to land on Tyson, but pretty wide open himself. Maybe his chin would take him through the first couple of rounds, but I doubt it.

 

Tyson would demolish baer similiar to what joe louis did

 

This is exactly what I was thinking. I say Tyson would end it a round earlier though.

Baer was a tough cookie and would fight like hell though. It would be fun while it lasted.

Different era's..
I think maybe Jesse ferguson would have wiped the mat with Baer.
(Not saying they were not great, just a diff era)
(I also think Michael Jordan scores 100pts a night on the 60's Celtics)

Bottomline would be Mike's Speed & Power.
something that era would not be ready for.
Tyson had Louis Power
Tyson had Dempsy Movement
Tyson of 19/20yrs would be the fastest fighter in that era easy.

 

Tyson vs. Baer would be like Louis vs. Baer. This wouldn't go the distance.
