During a john Madden interview he said Marvis Frazier and Alex Stewart..What do you guys think are his best? Ill go with Berbick and Golota..I know people wont really rate this victory but I consider it a very good win..Tyson still had the pop to do big things even while washed up.

To me, the two most impressive wins by Mike Tyson were the victories against Trevor Berbick and Larry Holmes. The reason being is that against both of these opponents, he destroyed them in a way that no other fighter did before they fought Mike Tyson, or after they fought Mike Tyson. I realize Larry was past his prime and hadn't fought in 2 years when he faced Tyson, but consider this. Holmes is widely considered to be one of the top 8 heavyweights of all time, and was a first ballot hall of famer. It was the only time in a 75 bout career that Holmes was ever stopped. And in 1992, an even older and faded Larry Holmes held his own and gave a prime Evander Holyfield trouble in losing a decision. Just shows how good prime Tyson actually was.

Tony Tucker and Pinklon Thomas. Although Ruddock and Spinks could be put in there as well.

How on earth is Tucker a top two win for Tyson? After a few rounds, Tyson decided he'd settle for a points win and Tucker decided he'd settle for a points loss.

    Thomas and Biggs, I think.

Berbick, Tucker, and Ruddock are good shouts. Golota is an excellent win for a shot Tyson, especially the way he dismantled him.

Two best wins and two best performances are separate things, I'd say.

Ok. 2 best perfomances... probably berbick and spinks. 2 best wins, spinks and holmes. thing is, I think he looked very raw against steward. very telegraphed rights. his sheer intimidation, power and visciousness won him that one. a more compose fighter would have given a much tougher fight, IMO. that Tyson was even more ripe for a Douglas type of guy/perfomance than the Tyson that actually fought Douglas.

Tyson's best 'performances' for me were Frazier, Berbick, Carl Williams and Spinks.

His 30 second destruction of Marvis Frazier is probably the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.
