I always thought Tyson's KO over Berbick was odd. That left hook didn't even look like it landed flush, but Berbick fell down 3 times from it.

    What exactly happened?

Temple shot. I always though that was an awesome shot. So fast and accurate. Berbick dropped like a sack of potatos:lupie:

He hit him on the top of the temple ... Berbick tried to desperately get up too quickly but he couldn't recover ...

Berbick tried to implement the Holyfield Blue print i.e. get close to Tyson as much as possible, to push Tyson back and not allow him to come forward. Even Tubbs tried that. Unfortunately both these guys did not have the Holyfield chin.

You've never seen a fighter lose their legs like that before? It's fairly routine and is how fighters sometimes react to being hurt. Zab Judah is famous for doing it against Tsyzu.

    Oh yes the “invincible” Tyson

Who won a 10 round decision over Mitch Green and James Tillis in his prime

Then later in his prime won 12 round decisions over James Smith and Tony Tucker.

Prime Mike Tyson knocked everyone out.

Well not if you actually go through his career.

Not sure where your reply is coming from. Everybody goes the distance. And if Tyson NEVER went the distance you'd be complaining that he never could and use that against him. He showed he could go 12 rounds and not lose a minute doing so.

Who's saying Tyson is invincible? Maybe people are claiming he's the toughest to beat when he's on point. That's not saying he was invincible.

Anyways, back on topic. Berbick's pimp limp was the result of a delayed reaction from a temple shot. People do funny things when hit that way.

It was Tyson's famous "Chicken Punch". If he hits you with it, you do the Chicken Dance.

You know it's impossible to knock out everyone, right?

Sure, maybe prime Tyson had some less than stellar performances, but it's unreasonable to criticize him for not KOing everyone.

    Do you watch much boxing?

Berbick got hit in the temple. This can throw off the equilibrium and sometimes has a delayed affect.

I've seen it in other fights, not just Tyson/Berbick.

    The KO was totally legitimate.

Of course he didn't ko everybody, but he had a huge KO streak before Tillis, and a good KO streak after Tucker.

Mike Tyson KO 7 Tyrell Biggs
Mike Tyson KO 4 Larry Holmes
Mike Tyson KO 2 Tony Tubbs
Mike Tyson KO 1 Michael Spinks
Mike Tyson KO 5 Frank Bruno
Mike Tyson KO 1 Carl Williams

One can see why Buster was such a huge underdog.
