    WOW!!!!!

I cant believe how little these guys are paid....

If the UFC doesnt start paying more then Dana comes off as a real POS.

Are you kidding me???? UFC is becoming one of the premier faces of combat sports in the WORLD.... they have made HOW MANY 1 million buys ppv's now (meaning.... they are raking in the money) and nobody on that card even made 500k?

UFC should be ashamed of itself.... seriously.

As for Tito, like ALL combat sports, you are not paid for how good you are, you are paid for how much $$$$ you bring in. Tito might be irrelevent at this stage but they were paying him for his name.

The thing with the UFC is.... by accepting less money, you will get greater exposure, more popularity, ect. You could probably sign with a lesser known company and get paid higher, but you wont be as well known. That probably sucks for these guys.

    Unbelievable.

These are the official payroll figures only. They don't include 'locker room bonuses' that the UFC pays to all fighters nor ppv points. Lesnar is probably looking at earning 3million minimum.

I also think people have to take a step back and remember just how many competitors are employed by the UFC. You're not talking the 30 or 40 that a normal sports team employs or even the 70odd that Golden Boy promote. You're talking over 200 fighters under contract. When you have that many fighters there's only so much you can pay each individual.

But yes they should never have signed Tito on such an inflated deal, he simply isn't worth it. Still such deals bring with them added pressure as they expect to able to use him in a position where he can justify such expense.

yeah but don't the 200 fighters only get paid for actual fights? if so, then you have to look at per fight pay vs the amount the event takes in. if they get some ppv points each then maybe not bad pay

Well said i mean what 1 million buys at around $50

So that means there was around 50 million to share around and the fighters in total between all of them were paid about 2.2 million were the **** does the other 47 million go.

That is a ****ing joke and Dana thinks theres something wrong with boxing.

Thats not including the Gate aswell as sponsorship deals.

Lets say UFC generated total earnings of $70,000,000 and the fighters got around $2.2 million of that to share.

The UFC have a winners pay scheme. If you keep winning you keep getting paid more. However once you are an established fighter you usually get paid well i.e. Ortiz and Sanchez got paid well coming off a loss.

    $100,000 is getting paid good?

This isnt the trailer park series.

Its the UFC, which is fastly becoming, if not already, the premier fighting arena in all of sports.

Diego is a name, and 100k is a joke.

Still, no matter how they slice it, 100k and 400k paychecks at the pinnacle of the sport is a joke. That bonus money should be just that, a bonus on top of a healthy paycheck, not a cop out excuse as for 'well their pay isnt quite that bad.

Their flat pay should be higher, period.

You are a hate the system type of guy. Huge pay days would see less fights and more fighters moaning. The top guys get paid well. Diego has just earned the 3 years wages in 3 months worth of work.

The UFC are paying for the sport to grow. The money has also been steadily improving for years.
