    My predictions for this weekends main fights at UFC 249.

    MAIN CARD

    Ferguson > Gaethje
    Cejudo > Cruz
    Ngannou > Rozenstruik
    Kattar > Stephens
    Hardy > De Castro

    SELECTED UNDERCARD FIGHTS

    Pettis > Cerrone
    Werdum > Oleinik
    Souza > Hall
    Luque > Price

    Excellent card of fights overall. What's everyone's thoughts/predictions ?

    Yeah I've got all the same picks as you except that I'm taking Gaethje over Ferguson in my betting pool with my friends at work. I consider that fight truly 50/50, so I'm going with Gaethje since he's the underdog, if that makes sense.

    I can see Gaethje marching him down with constant pressure, chopping away with leg kicks while looking for openings for the right hand. We saw in the Pettis fight that Ferguson was really bothered by leg kicks. Was that because of the recent knee injury or a continuing weakness? We're about to find out.

    I'm picking Jacare but I would love to see Hall win. He's had some good wins: Chris Leben, Moussasi, Jotko, and that win over Thiago Santos that looks really sweet in hindsight. But his career has undeniably been a disapointment given the hype and his physical talent. He's won 2 straight and maybe if he beats Jacare he can make a belated title run.

    @Francis75 I'm with you on all picks, except Ngannou vs Rozenstruik. For me Ngannou hasn't looked the same post-Stipe and Rozenstruik seems dangerous and carries so much power.

    Souza has tested positive for Corona virus, wonder if it will now go ahead. How did he get it, who else could he have spread it to.

    Should be hell of a fight and I wont mind if Gaetjhe wins but I favour TFerg possibly via stoppage late.
    Whoever wins beats Khabib end of year and I really like TFergs chances if the fight finally happens,6th time lucky:thumbsup:
