Griffin vs Rua: Forrest opens with a legkick. Rua shoots but Forrest gets him down and trys to pass Rua attempts a armbar but Rua gets back to his feet. Shogun slips Forrest right hand and secures a takedown into half guard now full guard. Both men working well and Shogun is landing some nice occasional elbows. Forrest guard is good though hes controlling Shogun not allowing him to pass guard. Forrest works back up to his feet and they exchange wild punches. They get into a clinch and Forrest gets a takedown and rolls into guard and lands some decent shots. Shogun works back up and Forrest catches him with a nice lefthook then Shogun gets him down breifley agianst the fence Forrest is back up but then back down agian with 30 secounds left. Forrest sweeps Shogun at the end of the round and lands some shots. 10-10 good fight.
I'm 100% with you. For some reason it took some starch out of me. I took a month or off after the CC loss.
Forrest is disgustingly huge for 205. Shogun needs to work in the clinch with the knees. He doesn't have the reach to fight standing.
