Well I'm 1-1 tonight (Calzaghe wins, but Lutter loses). But seriously- who does Franklin fight? I mean, there not going to sign Baroni to the UFC, right? Or Ninja Rua? How about Franklin-Okami II. They've both had some good ones recently.
Yeah, that's a great fight on paper. Except they risk knocking Bisbing out of the title picture (I think Franklin would win), and Bisbing is one of the few guys left to get fed to Silva. So I don't think we will get Franklin/Bisbing until after Silva has himself an English shepherd's pie for lunch.
I'm picking Serra in this fight, via Long Island accent. "GSP, whatchou twalking about?" That beats the French accent every day of the week.
I'll have to catch a download of it. Definetly not a big Bisping fan but 185 may have been a good move. McCarthy was never one in my eyes. Silva rapes Bisping.
The least likely result? Serra by decision. Most likely? St. Pierre by knockout. Regardless, I am picking Serra. I like his blend of boxing and bjj. And styles make fights.
GSP looks like he isn't being effected by the moment. I'd love to see him do what he does best. I really can't stand Serra. Niiiiiiice Mattie. DON'T FORGET TO BREATHE!!! WHERE ARE THE FOOT STOMPS?
Yeah, Serra is just one of those guys that will give GSP trouble everytime. Even if GSP wins, I don't think it's going to be as easy as some people think. The man once knocked out by the "Shonnie Carter Special," can be a royal pain in the ass to fight. A month ago I was picking GSP, easily. But the closer this fight gets, the stronger this feeling in my gut that Serra's going to take it again gets. This ought to be interesting.
I really wish Serra would have come out to Southpark's, "Blame Canada." You're going to get booed anyway.
