I'll tell you what, i'll take cote in an Avatar bet but I get Werdum so we just need one more fight to bet on to make a 2 of 3. I think Cote will do better then people expect, he has improved alot and this will be a fight where it will likely be just standup. Anderson's ground game has been just as deadly as his standup so Cote has a better chance of a flash KO then trying to control him on the ground which has been almost impossible as shown by Lutter, Marquardt, Henderson and Franklin.
Not a bad card overall IMO. I can see Silva v Cote being a lot closer than people think - Silva will be the favorite, and rightly so; However, you can't completely write-off a talented fighter like Cote.

Just read that Goran Reljic has pulled out of his fight with Thales Leites due to an injury. Was looking forward to that fight.
Yup Cote has devastating KO power so he is a live dog. Also you gotta remember Anderson is now be mentioned in the same breath of Jones and Tyson at there primes and look who they lost to Buster Douglass and Antonio Tarver who wouldve thought that ? We got a similar situation Andersons been destroying high level fighters like Rich,Hendo,Marquardt ETC and everyone sees this bout as a walk thru it shouldnt happen according to some. I doubt it happens but dont be totally shocked if Cote wins this.
Cotes only chance is to start throwing out of the gate. Be agressive. His problem is that he waits too long and rarely initiates. Itll be a minor miracle if he lasts the distance. Thiago-Diego matchup is intriguing...I think Sanchez has enough moxie and cardio to outlast Alves. Both dynamic fighters with Alves having a slight adv standing and Diego on the ground...close fight I can never see Diego losing by a KO...his chin is very good...but Alves is so explosive
