With all this talk about ufc taking over. which i beleive is bull****.
boxing is a great sport nothing can take its place.
do you beleive its just a media hype.maybe down the road will start watching ufc fighting champs take on Boxing champs. with fair rules.

    ufc gloves take downs allowed
    boxing ring.

You actually expect the MMA fighter to try and box with the boxer rather than take him down and out of his element?

There is an MMA Forum on this very website, I don't recall anyone making a rule that you weren't allowed to watch MMA as well as boxing.

But if you're ignorant and foolish enough to believe a boxer would just "catch" an MMA fighter every time, even when a wrestler shoots for their legs(kinda hard to react and land a decent punch in that situation eh?) then I'll end this conversation now.

    Boxing, Muay Thai, Juijitsu

IMO the best art forms. Anyone that doesn't respect each one equally is an idiot.

They cannot be compared. I'm a fan of all combat sports, Boxing is the basis of all martial arts. but u cant throw in boxer against MMA fighters with their rules and expect them to win and vice versa.

 I'm sure you will. Listen, I'm not about to start an internet war with the next Zelenoff, but it's obvious you don't know the first thing about MMA or all out, one on one combat if you think all you need is boxing. Boxing is a great sport(the best, I prefer it to MMA), but it's just that, a sport, and a much more limited one than MMA. You're delusional if you think otherwise.

I hope that never happens. I find MMA to be boring and don't want any boxers to give those folks the time of day.
