How can a three round fight top a bill? Evans vs Bisping hardly got into second gear, and now they're flogging BJ Penn at Newcastle over three rounds..where is the value? :huh At least with boxing a decison is over twelve rounds. Altho, I think all world title fights should be fifteen rounds again.
Title fights are 5 rounds...and rounds ARE 5 minutes a piece, after all. Grappling is also more intense (physically) than striking.

I'd rather sit through a boring 3 or 5 five minute rounds than go through a boring ass 12 or 15 round fight. I ordered the PPV last night and it wasn't half bad; even got the Anderson Silva fight last month. PPV for PPV, UFC is the better bang for the buck unless you're paying to see you're favorite fighter which still doesn't make a pleasing boxing match certain.
I was at the bar last night and they had on the UFC matches, I watched some of them in between drinking with some friends, is it just me or does it look like Zelenoff could punch better than most of these guys.

Go back to the old UFC rules...bring back the Abbotts of the world..it'll make it more exciting. Id rather see intriguing fights than 2 pretend skill guys in the cage who gasses in 2 minutes...and have no skill Im getting tired of yelling..kick!..kick him!!! punch ! punch! on TV Problem mainly theres about 5 Elite great fighters with charisma and real skills in the whole sport ..in terms of providing exitement and being able to execute what they want in the cage BJ Fedor Anderson Silva GSP to an extent Couture just for being very charismatic the sport cant survive on that
Are you defending MMA and the UFCs last PPvs? Because I just saw UFC 78 ..they should have called it UFC 78 "Disappointment" again UFC for example can only sustain 25,000 fans boing for so long... and when people smartens up and stop buying... they need to change the rules.. like if you stand and circle each other for 3 minutes and not throw a punch...you dont get paid.. unless you love that Frankie Edgar who tackles and lay on top for 3 rounds you an MMA fan??
