Hominick is as live a contender at 145 as Aldo is gonna' get in the UFC (unless Mendes continues to improve or Hioki joins) and I wouldn't be completely surprised to see him pull it off. If Aldo makes mincemeat of him it will be massively impressive. A lot of folks are thinking this is the fight that Aldo uses his (apparently) spectacular groud game. I'd prefer a shoot out myself :yep This has been the most consistently exciting card that I can remember in ****ing ages! :happy And we've stillgot Shields tapping GSP out yet :bbb
Hominick has a 'come forward, chin 1st' style that's made for Aldo. Hope your not disappointed, there's a good reason this is Aldos 1st match in the UFC
Well...aesthetically Machida...but his opponent was past his best. Let's wait and see what happens here. Hominick is a very capable fighter and looks pumped, Aldo is a phenom. Could be another one here. I liked that nose break elbow earlier...but Machida will get it on what we've seen this far I reckon.
