Just wanted to see what people’s thoughts were on what gets the more buys in the US given the time clash. Canelo the only bona fide star fighting but the UFC card far more competitive. Apologies if this has been covered in a different thread.
Casual UFC fans will probably watch the Canelo card if it doesn’t coincide with the MMA card and vice versa… The difference being that the UFC cards always have a strong undercard whereas boxing cards almost never do. While MMA holds very little attraction to me, I’d rather watch an evenly matched UFC title fight than a mismatched boxing match or one that’s clearly a case of the promoters running their B team out to save their best fights for TV cards as Haymon so often does.

The UFC card will be far more entertaining, seeing as UFC actually forces the best to fight the best Meanwhile on the Clen card you have Clen fighting a Tennessee Stripper vs Usman vs Covington 2 Zhang vs Namajunas 2 Chandler vs Gaethje Real tough decision lol and that's just 3 fights
UFC 268 > Canelo Card. Thats easy. At least if you care about MMA AND Boxing. Otherwise you will watch what you prefer: Boxing or MMA. I'll definitely watch the UFC card. The Canelo undercard sucks and the main event is **** too. Clenelo will beat the living crap out of Plant from R4-5 on.
The UFC card is miles better, no one would ever say otherwise. Most people will watch the UFC card, and then Canelo when it finishes.
