In an effort to give the smaller heavies a decent bite of the cherry .

    Heavies under 200lbs ,and I am stretching a couple of points here;

I'm including Louis.[it's my thread so STFU]

    Joe Louis
    Rocky Marciano
    Jack Dempsey
    Gene Tunney
    Bob Fitzsimmons
    Jack Johnson

Who wins ? Why & How?
    Who comes second ,ditto?

Joe Louis, the ultimate human fighting machine. Biggest guy in there at 6'2. Beautiful, fast combos with power. Good stamina when in shape.

Marciano number 2, and wins it is Louis comes in soft. A guy who can throw 100 punches in the 15th with power is going to beat most guys. I just think Louis wins 6 of 10 between them.

By the way, to make it a proper tourney with 8 people, why not add Schmeling and Patterson?

Yes, but six people does not make a proper tournament.

6' 1.5" would still make him the tallest, but many sources have him listed as 6'2". Can you provide a source saying that he is 6'1.5"? Or perhaps you knew his mother?

Tunney 2-3 beating Dempsey and Fitz
    Dempsey 1-4 beating Fitz
    Fitz 0-5

I favour Joe Louis over any of them, but it's possible he'd lose some, Johnson is probably the biggest threat.

I favour Rocky Marciano over Dempsey, Tunney, Fitz, but not Johnson, though I think that's close.

I favour Jack Dempsey over Tunnney (prime for prime), but not Fitz or Johnson

Gene Tunney vs Fitz is hard to pick for me, I think's it's close, but I favour Fitz. I favour Johnson against Tunney.

I think Bob Fitzsimmons would lose to Jack Johnson, but I can't write him off totally.

    So best guess
    Joe Louis 5-0
    Jack Johnson 4-1
    Rocky Marciano 3-2
    Bob Fitzsimmons 2-3
    Jack Dempsey 1-4
    Gene Tunney 0-5

Apparently if Tunney and Johnson fought they'd both lose.

Prime Marciano and prime Louis is just a bad matchup for Joe and even he admitted that. But because Joe is Joe he has to be tied for first. Marciano Dempsey would be an awesome fight.
