im thinking forbes dlh etc why dont the underdogs get a nice low blow in early to rough the favourite up?
Would it work? I'm used to seeing fighters bend the rules and all, but if a guy is inferior to his opponent, fouls usually don't change that.
i just hate seeing a top class fighter using a low blow to gain the advantage at the right time in the fight. Why doesn't the underdog set the tone early in the fight more by roughing up the opponent and sending a message by roughing them up and getting into their head?
It happens. John Molina repeatedly fouled Oscar De La Hoya, and made things rough for DLH, but still lost. Ernest Mateen kept fouling James Toney, to the point where he got himself DQ'd. For Ricky Hatton, his fouling did work against Kostya Tszyu. Sakio Bika repeatedly fouled Joe Calzaghe. Agapito Sanchez and Nedal Hussein fouled Manny Pacquiao repeatedly.
