Not after Shane pressures Cotto and beats him down in the rematch!

I think if he's back to the way he was pre-Margarito, he beats Jennings easily to take the WBO belt, and decisions both Clottey and Berto to take the IBF & WBC. If he fights Mosley, that fight is pretty much 50/50 for me. Depends when the fight happens, if Shane turns up like he did in the Margarito fight, or like he did in the Mayorga fight etc.

As if Floyd would fight any of Cotto, Mosley, Clottey or Berto.

Good chance he will be, if he beats Shane in the rematch, I doube there is anyone else who would beat him (Maybe Margarito again)

Hopefully he can get the Mosley rematch and after he wins go for either berto or clottey. If nobody is stripped he should be undisputed. But hey its easier said than done....

Cotto was destroyed in his last fight. I think it's premature to say he'll be undisputed champion by the end of year. Remember, this guy has yet to beat a reigning champion. He's collected nothing but vacant titles. That trend will continue when he fights Jennings for yet another vacant belt.

Does that matter? He beat Shane who's an elite fighter, and is a world champion now, just happened to not have a belt at the time.

Yeah, it does matter. Cotto would have to beat 3 reigning champs in one year in order to be undisputed by the end of the year. That's a tall order for anyone, yet alone for somebody who has yet to beat one reigning champ in his entire career.

I'm asking why it matters that he's only won vacant belts when he has a very good resume including guys like Mosley, Judah etc.

it does matter. Beating a guy when he is champ and beating him when he is not champ is not the same thing
