Peden was on the verge of getting stopped, and then Campbell's stupidity took over. One of a kind knockout.
I think the Bute-Andrade rematch deserves a shout. Andrade had been down only once in his career before this fight, still Bute managed to drop him twice in the same fight, and he did it in two different ways, head shot and body shot. Especially that body shot was a thing of beauty, sharp, short and powerful. Andrade didn't know what hit him and was in severe pain for quite a while afterwards. If we are talking unique then perhaps Mutti/Murphy double knockdown should be there. So should fight between Tony Wilson and Steve McCarthy, when McCarthy was dq'd for refusing to continue after being attacked by Wilson's stiletto wielding Mum.
That Mutti/Murphy was exactly like a hollywood script. Too bad that was not considered a big bout at the time......can you imagine an ending like that on HBO the last 2 years? Kellerman/Lampley would have it ranked as the most exciting fight for the last century and have both guys in the hall of fame for this 1 fight.
Well, I have come upon a revelation. I was talking in the gym the other day and hearing some stories about fights. So one guys starts talking and saying his mate was boxing and his nose was burst and about 2 minutes later he just keeled over, knocked out cold for 30 mins. It was ecause his nose bleed blocked the oxygen in his brain. Was Galaxy's nose bleeding?
