Jermain Taylor was always motivated. He just lacked the intelligence to utilize what he was taught in the ring. That and he had two left feet which meant terrible footwork. Not to mention, he always came into fights so tense.

Yeah JT had skills and he had heart, but no intelligence. He was onto something after the Hopkins fights, but he lost everything. His jab was slacking big time and the sad thing is that it was his best punch. Horrible horrible footwork.

Audley Harrison. Hes frustrated me no ends, im convinced he always had what it takes to be walking around the top 10 of the division. Not the best but one of them.

But he was seriously lacking something in his heart, he doesnt take well to being hurt, gives up way too easily and has really wasted his professional career.

Showed a glimpse that he does have resolve in the Sprott fight and when hes wanted to has shown good skills and the powers there. If being one of the best heavyweights on the planet and making alot more money in those fights compared to facing the likes of Sprott and Rogan isnt enough motivation for a pro boxer i dont know what is.

That's not so much a lack of motivation as it is just not having the heart of a fighter.

If a polar bear eats Arreola it could hibernate for five years without eating. Arreola is ten times the blubber of a seal even if he trains like Floyd he's hopeless :thumbsup

    Guzman immediately comes to mind.

Dude has p4p talent but no work ethic whatsoever.

Another one is Toney who even though he achieved a lot in the sport he could have been a legit ATG if he hadnt wasted almost a decade hanging around with Ronald Mcdonald.

Chad Dawson of the Pascal fight...For a fighter to posses his skill set and his talent, he sure as hell wasnt motivated enough to bring it to Pascal...He had the fire and will when the fight was damn near over with.:patsch

Zab Judah is another that comes to mind.:-(
