Uppercut bag

Hang it freely or place against wall? Not sure. Im getting some new equipment for the house and am torn between a regular uppercut bag, a teardrop bag, or a body snatcher type bag...which do yall prefer and why? Also I have seen gyms put their uppercut bags against a wall..is that just to save room or what?:huh

i think they are all useful. get tlhem all.

 

I've used uppercut bags and imho they are terrible. When you hit them they end up spinning around and that is the reason why cats place them against walls. Then you just end up hitting a stationary target. I feel the best bag to work uppercuts is the body snatcher/wrecking ball. After I used it for the first time I fell in love with it, so I had to cop one for my home. They are also amazing for throwing hooks to the body.

Yea the wrecking ball bag is the best I believe to work on your uppercuts and help with the movements involved.

The uppercut bags on the wall are a bit falsely named when it comes to the way I use it because the last punch I try to actually land on it IS the uppercut lol. I just use it to place punches from different angles and working on turning the hooks from a side angle, so I might be a bit biased.
