I rate Wilder more than a lot on here but stylisticly Usyk is a nightmare for him.

A high output, slick southpaw would dominate Wilder from start to finish.

Usyks chin is not really tested at heavyweight, so firstly being the boxing master he is, he might well not get hit cleanly on the chin and secondly if he did, would he be able to absorb it, get off the canvas if decked and if he did then be in position to deal with further incoming missiles.

I as stated favour Usyk, but anyone with a modicum of boxing insight should not dismiss Wilders prime weapon, if the match up was made Usyk would undoubtedly not be dismissing its potential, a significant part of training would be on how to avoid Wilder making contact with his mandible, even if he thought he could get off the canvas Fury style, he or we do not know if Usyk could get off the canvas, and sure as hell Usyk would not be seeking to put it to the test.

That's very unlikely, he'd need to put his foot on the gas and be overly aggressive which is a very unnecessary risk given that Usyk can pick him apart over 12 while staying out of the danger zone. I would wager my money that if Usyk ever became greedy and went for the kill he'd wake up on his back.

Usyk should do it.. Faster or hand and foot and with enough pop to keep Wilder from walking through him and the skill to keep him of balance and never set to throw. You can never totally rule out Wilder from landing the nuke though. Only Fury in fight 2 has someone managed to avoid it.

80% Usyk wins this but you never know with these type of fights. Wilder's power is fight changing.

I know you love Usyk but listen and understand I'm not here to play tip tap boxing. I'm here to do demolition jobs on cruiserweights.

& if AJ finds his punchers chance punch which leaves Usyk ring circling into submission don't be shocked.

Wilder was getting outboxed for large stretches against Szpilka, and Szpilka is not a poor man's Usyk, he's a starving man's Usyk.

Blitzing through opponents with his power is all the unintelligent, one dimensional Wilder knows how to do. That works well enough against C-level fighters like Szpilka, Duhapaus, Molina, Washington, Brezeale, etc. Not against A-level fighters like Usyk. I genuinely think Wilder would be totally clueless in there with Usyk.

This poll shows most feel Wilder was over rated and done. The opposite for Usyk. Still I'd like to see who those closet Wilder fans are.

Usyk stops Wilder by the midway point of the fight. The gulf in skills doesn't get equalized by Wilder's power in this scenario.

Usyk peppers Wilder so badly it would be painful to watch.

It kinda of is. He sppard with several heavyweight bancger before moving up. Its better the Fury's for sure. Wilder's power is untested at the world class level unless you consisder Fury who I think isn't duable.

No doubt he sparred, but as you know firstly sparring is not make or break fighting, gym wars are primarily a thing of the past, you put a World title on the line and that is when a heavyweight will be giving his all, every intended powershot will be just that.

You suggest Wilders punching power is untested at world class level, ok that is your opinion, but i was sure he was world heavyweight champion and defended the world heavyweight title successfully 10 times, perhaps my boxing history knowledge is wrong, but i will set that aside for the moment.

So let us turn your statement around, Usyk has only had his chin tested on world class level in the heavyweights once against AJ, and frankly AJ did not indeed test Usyks mandible.

Usyk might well as a heavyweight have a jaw like granite and have the recuperative qualities of Lazarus, but we are yet to truly see, a towering behemoth of a heavyweight vs Usyks mandible will provide us with definitive answer.

Its been tested by Joshua, Joyce in a pro-style match, and Gassiev who some say is the hardest puncher they have ever faced.

    Its tested.

Wilder has less chance of landing on Usyk than he did Fury.
