Confirmed by Eddie Hearn today that Takam will be his next opponent. Going to be very interesting to see how this all plays out. I don’t know all the fighters in the HW division (far from it), but his style looks so one of a kind, unique, for that league, it’s going to be fascinating. I know people will laugh at this, which is fair enough, but he has a few attributes that remind me of, dare I say it, Muhammad Ali - maybe not the worlds hardest hitter but he is graceful as hell when in full flight with superb speed of thought. That is what makes it interesting for me.
It's plausible that this puny Usyk might have similiar success at heavyweight, to what Chris Byrd had. But I struggle to imagine this 215lb flea bag, putting a dent on the 245 pound bodybuilder Joshua's rock solid muscles. Maybe if Valuev or Joseph Parker was still around, he might pick up a world title. Not against the current beltholders though. Thought Briedis pushed him too the limit.
