I can’t wait for this fight. I can’t decide who I’m picking to win. I know we’ve had a lot of competitive fights this year, but this one really feels like a 50/50 to me. Valdez has the edge in counter punching, movement and defense (though he is not exactly a master at these things) Navarrete has a big size advantage (height, reach and likely fight night weight), output advantage and perhaps a slight power advantage. If my life was on the line and I had to pick, I’d go with Valdez because in a close fight sometimes your corner can make the adjustment you need to edge it out and I favor valdez corner by a mile. On the contrary this could be berchelt vs valdez all over again. Thoughts?
