Why even talk about it? Floyd only fought Marquez because of his name and the money. It wouldn't make much money to fight another lightweight that is far, far, far, far, far less popular and well known than Marquez.
PBF will beat Valero to the punch everytime. Valero's chin won't hold up against PBF's clean punches too. Mayweather's too accurate and fast.

Mayweather dances around him for 12 winning every round. Valero is powerful, but he wouldnt get close enough to make his power count. Add the facts that Floyd seems to have a good chin and he himself is very unlikely to attempt a KO. Valero would look **** and wouldnt get the opportunity to affect Mayweather with his power. If Valero's chin is as decent as JMM's, a UD is possible. Valero went down against Mosquera, who knows how he handles a Mayweather hook.

QFT If PBF is actually going to fight Pacquiao it might not be a bad idea to at least spar with Valero. Cotto himself should be sparring Valero if he wants to get a feel for Pacquiao.
