Katz with his straighter punches will frequently beat Valero to the punch. Valero's gonna realize how powerful Katsidis is compared to the guys he fought at 130. He's in for a shock. Katsidis KO7 Valero.
I got Valero by KO in this one. Though it hasn't showed due to his poor level of opposition I believe Valero is more polished than Kats and will that pop and southpaw style he will take him out.
Katsidis would be too big, too strong and aggressive. Valero beat one decent guy in his whole career so far and got knocked down in the process. Katsidis by UD or late stoppage.
Valero's power can take him as high as 140 and maybe even 147 lbs ... Katsidis is very hittable, is prone to cuts, and has very limited boxing skills ... so the thought of him knocking Valero out isn't possible. Valero is faster and strong - I can see Valero knocking Katsidis out in 7 rounds ... Katsidis was rocked early on walking into something against a relative light puncher in Joel Casamayor. Valero would probably be the man to beat once he gets settled in the lightweight division. He's too explosive and very fast --
