Valuev, who did get a lot of gifts, also fought against overall decent opposition- something he doesn't get much credit for. And he was always competitive. He couldn't deal with movement well due to his size, and he was limited, but he has become somewhat underrated. It's too bad he is past it and retired now, because the Valuev of years ago vs. Fury, would have been an interesting battle of giants. For a guy of his size and ability, he did alright. More than alright.
Meh I really think he doesn't. Got a gift against ancient Holyfield, lost to Chagaev who I don't rate at all and got clowned versus Haye. Who the hell did he even beat?
