I see many different opinions here. I never said either man looked better or did better, both were terrible but I just felt Valuev did more in this fight. you have to appreciate hayes defence when valuev tried to corner him. he would show valuev one way and slip to the other... fantastic movement!! this was the only way to win!! he boxed as he needed to and did it perfectly!!

Its usually very quite in German they watch boxing intensley, its certainly never an enemy den for the challenger, look at vitali peter their man was killing peter and you could hear a pin drop. However when Arthur was boxing taylor there was a great atmosphere. This was unusual for German fights imo Special mention to Jawwwwnny ruiz he boxed well and didnt grab once. Ruiz deserve props in the Jones toney and 2x valuev fights he is no longer a mugger hugger I wish him well
The german boxing crowd mostly tries to concentrate and follow the fight and not drink 15 glasses of beer and shout "There´s only on Ricky Hatton"
