Suprised this hasn't been mentioned and my memory has just been refreshed after reading an article. Is that not the biggest abomination to boxing and perhaps music that you have ever seen/heard?
The music was terrible, the band looked like the cheesiest band I've ever seen, the lyrics were absolute trite and didn't at all reflect any kind of mindset Valuev may have been in. Just a way to promote a German band, to be honest they have clearly digressed from the 70's heyday of Faust, Can, Kraftwerk etc etc when they were churning out (possibly) the greatest music EVER made.
German shows normally have these crap entrances. The only decent one I can remember, although it was still a bit cheesy in my opinion, was Vitali Klitschko's against Samuel Peter.
I just took a **** break and checked ESB, about 3 minutes later I came down and they were still ****ing playing and Valuev wasn't in the ring yet.
The one with Lennox, Joe Frazier, Tyson etc. That one was waaaaayyy over the top but quality!!! I think its unfair on their opponent though.
They should have played 'Wind of Change' because: a) New Champion b) Anniversary of Berlin Wall coming down c) They stunk the place out
Dreadful and completely unfair to the opponent stood waiting in the ring. Don't know how they get away with that kind of thing tbh. There's a lot of that in the UK as well, I don't care for flashy entrances at all really, they take too long and again they're unfair to the opponent.

a) That was a Finnish band. [ame]http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunrise_Avenue[/ame] b) I loathe them & the majority of other music acts that perform at Sauerland shows.
