the vargas from the Trinidad fight vs the Kirkland from the Julio fight? who wins this fight an undefeated Vargas or an undefeated Kirkland? i think this could turn out to be a great war but it seemed as those Vargas had a solid chin until Tito cracked it. anyways i would have to favor Vargas and pick him by 7th round KO.
I liked Vargas but Kirkland seems so much better. Its a shame he had to be so stupid to buy that gun. I think the best opponent for Kirkland would be Cotto it would be a great fight.
i think had kirkland vs angulo happened Kirkland would of battered angulo in 10. but i think vargas would be to fas and to pwerful for kirkland and he would get hit to often
I think that this fight would be interesting to watch. I think it would be a guaranteed knock out. I forgot how good Vargas looked against Tito until the last round. I miss Vargas too bad his promoters handled him foolishly. He fought Tito too early in his career. Kirkland so far has not had his chin tested...so if we had a time machine this fight would be huge since we don't we are gonna see a Wesley Snipes vs Kirkland match in the Undisputed Sequel.
Vargas would try to mix it up with Kirkland and get KO'd in my opinion!!! Great fight while it lasted though!!
vargas and by a lot. He's a far, far superior boxer to kirkland with as much or more power. Look at the Quartey and Trinidad fights. Kirkland has never faced that kind of competition or anywhere near it but Vargas made great showings in both. Yes, he lost to Trinidad but the Vargas of that night would have given ay 154lber ever a whole lot of hell. For Kirkland, that Vargas would have been a nightmare. Vargas KO 5
Kirkland was not, nor would he have ever been at Fernando's level... Vargas would dominate and KO Kirkland with ease. Sorry Kikland fans, but walking straight forward and getting punched clean in the face is just not a good strategy against Vargas.
