Maybe contact Top Rank? Might have something on their website.

And yeah, those sites claiming to sell tickets are probably dodgy

According to yahoo answers (lol) it's Jan 31 they go on sale. Looks like the fella that answered copy and pasted something out of an article so looks right.

    I was bored so I had a LITTLE look for u :

Cheapest Direct flight is British Airways - I based it on flying out Friday May 6th , Flying back Monday May 9th and it worked out at £683

Non Direct flight is KLM ( change in Atlanta on way out , Minneapolis way back ) £506

    Hotels

Excalibur - £163 ( £81.50 each based on you and your mate sharing ) You can get cheaper prices if you stay in Sahara , Circus Circus , Flamingo and Imperial Palace etc but they look like **** holes ) Got this price from Expedia

So £588 each plus fight ticket and spending money

As I said I only had a little look and changing the days can make a big difference as well !

Yep I already looked down this route. Why would you say Circus Circus is a shithole? The area or hotel? Coz Queensbury use Circus Circus lol.
Difficult thing this way is getting the tickets as I'm sure they'll sell out quickly. I'm also guessing the hotels will go up in price around the time tickets go on sale. Obviously I could book now, but that would be a gamble... Or I could cancel the booking if I don't get the fight tickets :think

Oh thanks for the help mate :good

Circus Circus is too far out of the way if you were staying doen that end Stratosphere or Sahara as Monorail starts at Sahara.
Imperial Palace is ok just a little old but as central as you can get great burger joint in it and opposite Ceasers Palace which is huge & if not bothered about cash the place i'd stay.
Dont worry about tickets u will be able to either but from MGM or off touts on the night in the MGM. Paid $1200 for hatton-Mayweather but they were $750 tickets as demand will be no where near that fight u wont pay much over face value.

Go & register now on the MGM guest book & reserve yer room + you get allegedly 25% if yer book well in advance. MGM own most of the hotels on the strip & if yer want good value then hit the Excaliber, book it now, dirt cheap as you don't pay per head only per room & they just take 1 nights cost of yer credit card which can be cancelled up to 24 hours before you are meant to go.

I'll be flying direct by Virgin or BA, makes a hell of a diff as you get into Vegas at 2pm & only 11 hours direct flight instead of the 14+ but i'll be staying at the MGM again as i always end ened getting wasted in the ZURI bar as thats were all the scribes hang out. ****in awesome experience to see a big fight live in Vegas. I'am torn between Marquez/Morales & the Pac fight because of all the mex crowd who are great company, either way it's a ****in mindbender of an experience. I'am a total Vegas junkie, everything you want & don't want is there & it's coming to get you at about 4.30am sas thats when the real monster slags start hunting yer down:lol: Hooters is packed with some real evil washed up hag hookers around that time:lol:

took a non-direct flight out for calzaghe/hopkins (could have picked a better fight!),
non direct was o.k and saved a couple of hundred quid, stayed for ten days tho,if you are just doing 3 or 4 go direct.
stayed in imperial palace,,great central location and seriously good value,,ask for upgrade when you arrive,,we got a room with a massive hot tub in it for about 20quid more.be prepared tho, imperial palace have a policy of hiring some staff with dissabilities,,wish someone could have warned us,,**** funny though and there is a monorail link out the back of the hotel that go's straight to mgm grand.
    enjoy...

    Sounds superb that hotel.
Plan's coming together, will hopefully have everything booked up by the end of the month (gotta wait for pay day) which will just leave the tickets. I'll take the ****ing day off work to sit at my computer refreshing the page the day they go on sale.:yep
