I don't think Vitali ducked Rahman, that thought us ******ed :good

I think Haye, Povetkin and Solis would easily beat Brigg's aswell, and I could see Haye and Solis knocking him out. I think Vitali dominated Brigg's in a way no-one else in the division could have, but I think the result was underwhelming as many expected Vitali to knock Brigg's out. A younger Vit would have done so.

Right on brother, thanks for bringing the truth. People here think Briggs was an all time great contender, they just don't know, they just don't know.

    ARE YOU KIDDING!?!?

This is Vitali who beat Briggs! VITALI!

Had anyone else beaten Briggs they would have just beaten a faded former Champ who had no reason to stay around.

But since Vitali beat him (going by the Klitschko vs anyone rule book) Briggs was at the top of his game and has never looked better in his life. ATG performance by Vitali, the Klitschko's are the greatest HW's in history (yes they are a package deal), this division is not weak, you're just a hater.

Since when do both Klitschkos get any credit for their victories?

Briggs lost and ended in intensive care. But, to me he showed heart. He took that beating that alot of others in this division are too scared to take. Yes, he is not the greatest fighter, but, unlike Haye, Povetkin...ect...ect. He came and fought and took his punshiment. Lets see Haye do the same! Props to Briggs for getting in there!

The Klitschko's will get credit when they beat a live contender who deserves a shot and comes to fight.. i'm sick of seeing oppenents who barely throw a punch in anger ala Briggs in the hope of survivng the distance.

What doesn't help is there a so few of these 'live' contenders out there and the Klits style's which are very effectiive and there size and dedication doesn't help there fights look exciting. For example given the choice of watching one Pac fight or ten Klits fights you would choose Pac it's a no-brainer!

It was evident in round one that Briggs did not come to fight. His only chance was to try to overwhelm Vitali from the start and he was not willing to do so.

Yes, I know....but since then he has been offered the fight, multiple times, and hasn't signed.

A dominant win over a shot to bits, overweight fighter who wasn't brilliant to start with.
I'd say if Vitali had been anything other than dominant it would have been a reason to criticise but he was so it isn't. The only possible reason I can think of for anybody hyping it is that he and his brother have loads of fans who post on this board (or is it only a few with multiple accounts?) who don't have any interest in boxing whatsoever apart from the Klitschko's and maybe a select one or two other active fighters (all white, make of that what you will) who basically know nothing and get all their 'info' from glancing at boxrec. They want to make a big deal of it because they have some silly, probably repressed poor self-esteem related agenda.
