silva looked in the best shape i've ever seen him. i could see the outline of his wings. the 6 was cut and his arms looked big. the photo above shows some serious muscle definition. people don't win fights on muscles but they can be very telling as to how a guy has prepared.
I Think hes got that Ali mentality that he only trains his hardest when hes scared. Against guys he knows have nothing that can hurt him he doesnt bother and has the wrong mentality, against someone better he tries to put them away quickly.
A clip from the Brazilian soap Vitor was in a few years ago probabley. I'd guess Anderson wasnt expecting it to be that effective but it seems like a good counter to the way Vitor was fighting. That is looking to ignore all of Andersons "flash" and just focus on what he believed were the actual dangers, the front kick seems to be dismissed as flash in MMA but really its a pretty high percentage move.
i would agree. ali had some horrendous showings. silva wants challenges. he likes to get involved with the banter and he wants to fight at 205, go down to fight GSP, fight Jones in boxing, learn new moves from anyone he can including Seagal. he clearly hates run of the mill rubbish.
