This is a list of results in Walker's fights. Yes, I would pick Tiger to manhandle Walker. I would pick Sharkey to manhandle him too. There is no footage, to my knowledge, of Walker matching a HW for strength. He won these fights by punching and with astonishing durability. I would submit that Tiger is the stronger man, and I don't see anything in this list of results to make me doubt that. Walker was manhandled, to a degree, by Greb, was he not? So he has been out fought in clinches by a middleweight before, very close to his peak. Tiger has not. I like your posts as a rule, but I don't see what a string of Walker's results does for your case that he was stronger than Tiger. Unquestionably, Tiger can be outboxed. If you read the second post you will see that I am careful to ask you if you see Walker boxing. Do you? I think that makes for an interesting match, certainly. But I thought your case was that Tiger could be outmuscled and outpunched by Walker? Tiger and Walker are very different men. Yes, I think it is possible that a peak version of Dick Tiger could lose valiently to Schmeling and go the distance with Sharkey, but it's not really relevant, in my view. Walker is not as strong as Ruben Hurricane Carter in my opinion. Tiger bullied him. Tiger threw Giardello onto the ground like he was a rag doll. Walker would not be able to do that. Walker far outstrips Tiger in the p4p sense (#6 on my list v #100-120) but this is a bad match up for him. Tiger has a granite chin (And you don't need one to trouble him as the aggressive Flowers proved) savage punches, cannot be forced onto the backfoot - it's impossible - and has proven himself stronger on the inside. But regardless of what you think of my pick, please don't think I underate/underapreciate Walker, who is one of my very favourites ever.
