    Great match up

Eggington is an unsung hero for the entertainment he has provided over the years

Saying that I expect Walker to win this

Great venue for it too. Wolverhampton Halls is a steep, tighly packed venue with fans looking down from a couple of tiers of seats - it should create a real couldron of an atmosphere if the fight comes alive as expected

Adam Smith on comms will be struggling to contain himself

I'm actually in the black County in May (The Robin) but unfortunately the later end of the month or I'd have definitely gone

I saw Eggington a couple of weeks back and he told me the fight is at 153lb. It was what the walker camp offered and he couldn’t believe it as it’s only a pound below his fighting weight.

Eggington is always in cracking fights. Walker is an opponent, you could imagine that Eggington would have slapped around a bit back a few years ago.

The edge here goes with Walker, due to the number of miles on Eggington's clock

I'm glad to hear this, it was listed as a welterweight bout, which would have been detrimental for Eggington.

Harley Burrows is set to make his pro debut on this card. Anyone seen much of him?

Word amongst the Black Country fancy is that Sam's looking sharp in training.

I hope so (and I say this earnestly, I really like Eggington), but he will really need to be on top form to compete with Walker who seemingly has caught lightening in a bottle and is on a great run.

Eggington is probably my favourite fighter of the last ten years, I'd never write him off in a domestic fight at this level, he's got that dog in him.

I agree with every word of the previous two posts. Walker is on top form, Eggington never knows when he's beaten. It's a real old-fashioned bill in a great venue.

Fair play Eggington, he got beat Walker was a good time to fight him.

Eggington still only 32 which is mad really, pro for 12 years, always in exciting fights. Old school mentality, fight anyone, anywhere.

Something in the back of my mind can see him doing BKB somewhere down the line, way he fights they would love to sign him.

One of the local press told me it was the most boring pre-fight conference he'd ever attended because both men have such respect for each other.
